| Lisa started piano lessons at age 8 and played for ten years. Her dedication to practicing made her realize "the more you put into it, the more you get out of it." With a background in child development, she is uniquely equipped to teach younger children in a fun and caring environment. Her forte is working with children, as she gets down to their level making learning fun and silly. Classically taught herself, she incorporates rhythm, tone and mood, and the ability to read music, which lays the foundation. |
We offer guitar, drum, bass, and piano lessons at reasonable rates. We use professional high-quality instruments and recording gear that makes our studio a fun place to learn your instrument. Our approach is casual and personable; we want you to feel comfortable at our studio while learning your instrument.
We chose a name that represented our family since music is an essential part of our daily lives both personally and professionally. The name Kaldoa was created using the first letters of each of our six-member family.
Our initial purpose in having a studio was to play our instruments, write songs, and record with professional instruments and recording gear. We moved into teaching because we enjoy it so much and wanted to enrich other lives with music.
In addition to the joy of creating music, learning an instrument provides a multitude of benefits for both adults and children. It improves self-esteem, fosters creativity, can improve speech development in children, increases emotional development, teaches better self-discipline skills, lengthens attention span, and crosses over to academics as well.
Kaldoa has grown from three students to seventy in one year! Our vision is to provide a learning platform for all ages encompassing milestones from small to large with the ultimate goal for each student of being able to express individual creativity on an instrument. We are proud of where we started, and with continued growth and expansion, are committed to continuing on our quest of bringing joy to lives through mastery of music skills…changing lives one note at a time.
